About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available to join the foundation team of a brand-new, state-of-the-art, government-owned early learning and childcare centre in the Melton South area.

Our client, a leading provider of early childhood services, is establishing this significant 130-place centre at Murrum Primary School. Opening in 2026, the centre will initially provide Long Day Care and Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten, with plans to eventually transition to include Pre-Prep.

Your Core Responsibilities

As a Qualified Early Childhood Educator, you will be a key part of the team, supporting the delivery of exceptional early childhood education. Your role includes:

• Supporting the team to implement high-quality early childhood education, guided by evidence-informed, contemporary pedagogy and practice.
• Ensuring all practice is aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS), the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), and the National Education and Care Law and Regulations.
• Helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment that facilitates rich interactions and strongly supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. 🧠
• Building positive, respectful, and collaborative relationships with families, children, and colleagues.
• A strong commitment to the well-being and development of children aged birth to 6 years. ❤️

What We Are Looking For

• An approved Diploma OR Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification. 🎓
• Current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC).
• Police Check - National or International (PC).
• CPR, Asthma and Anaphilaxis Certificate.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing educational programs aligned with current best practice.
